Simulation Design and Facilitation
In our ever increasingly interconnected and complex world we all know that (borrowing from a tried and trusted military phrase) “no plan survives contact with reality”. Its is very often not the plan itself that will help you manage your response to a complex event. Instead it will be the act of planning, and the expertise and skills gained through doing it that helps you the most.
Simulation exercises are a critical element of testing and refining your planning for complex events. They are also a critical means of building the competence and confidence of your emergency management staff and teams.
The Question 4 team have considerable experience in the design, facilitation of and evaluation of simulation exercises, from small team table top exercises to large multi-agency exercising involving hundreds of people. The team can work with you to develop and deliver simulations that will meet your objectives.
